Use of Public Areas in Perkins Library

For solicitation, exhibit tables, and displays

Public areas of Perkins Library are reserved for library sponsored activities in order to:

  1. Maintain the library as an attractive and uncluttered environment.
  2. To ensure unimpeded access to the building and its resources.
  3. Increase the effectiveness of library-related exhibits and displays, which are intended to assist and inform those who use our resources.

Other use of the public areas of Perkins Library for solicitation and exhibit tables and displays is not permitted. Public areas include study rooms, lobbies, seminar rooms, doors and doorways, hallways, windows, stairwells, book stacks and the public building entrances.

Requests for exceptions to this policy should be referred to a member of the Executive Group.
