Ellysa Stern Cahoy is Assistant Head of Library Learning Services in the Penn State University Libraries, University Park. A former children's librarian and school library media specialist, Ms. Cahoy has published research and presented on information literacy, library orientation, evidence-based librarianship and library instruction. She is a Faculty Fellow in Penn State’s Teaching and Learning with Technology unit, focused on defining a model for student digital literacy acquisition within the online content creation process. Ms. Cahoy serves on the Executive Committee of the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) Instruction Section, and is Chair of the ACRL Information Literacy Standards Committee.
