Driving Directions to Duke's West Campus

The closest parking option is the Bryan Center Parking Deck. When you are parked, exit the parking deck and walk around to the front of the Chapel. Enter the Perkins Library entrance opposite the Allen Building, walk under the hanging banner and into the Dalton-Brand Reading Room, 103 Perkins. See map for more details. On-Campus Directions

The Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library, and University Archives, is primarily located in the orginal 1928 Library building (pictured above), immediately adjacent to the Chapel Quad.  The Dalton-Brand Research Room, where all research on rare books, special collections, and archives is conducted, is located in Room 103 directly through the arch and under the banner in the Tower lobby.  The Mary Duke Biddle Rare Book Room is located at the other end of the hall from the research room, adjacent to the Perkins main lobby.
