World music is a name conceived by record company people in
London in the mid 80's to describe ethnic or international music, a
genre that has become popular in the last decade but which has been
around as long as people have been teaching other people to play
and sing.

- Brazilian reggae singer, Menezes, recorded these 12 tracks with
most of the titles translated into English. For example, "A girl
named Dandara" and "Peace on Earth". She is probably best known (in

the original language, this cassette contains Indian songs sung by
