Although the Music Library is the primary collector of music and music related library materials, the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library has a number of imporant collections of primary resources in this area.

The Sheet Music Index provides access to some of the uncataloged sheet music in the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library. There is also an American Song Lyric database providing access to the lyrics of a selection of this sheet music.
