John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising, and Marketing History

Volunteer at the Hartman Center

Pitch In, Ad*Access WWII adThe Hartman Center has been a training ground for numerous people who want to gain experience working with rare materials that focus on advertising. Volunteer positions are created on a case by case basis as we create meaningful projects that capitalize on and complement students' academic interests while providing them with valuable work experience.

Possible tasks include:

  • Processing historical collections
  • Public relations projects
  • Special event planning/set up/management
  • Clerical Work

These projects, requiring many different talents and skills, are essential to the operation of the Hartman Center. An interest in archives and/or advertising is preferred.

For more information, or to volunteer, please contact the Hartman Center Director.
