An Overview of Latin American Materials Held in the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library

Although Latin America is not one of the major collecting areas in the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library, it is one of the major strengths of the Duke University Library (see Latin American & Iberian Resources). In support of research and scholarship in this area we have identified Special Collection holdings that relate to Latin America. This guide is organized into manuscript and printed resources with the manuscripts subdivided further into material relating to South America, the Caribbean, and Central America.
