Duplication Price List: Digital, Audio, Video, DVD and Paper

For  flat, unbound order of 10 images or fewer:  Images will be scanned as 300 dpi color files and saved in .tiff format unless requested otherwise. Delivery time on orders from receipt of signed contract is usually 5-7 working days; check with staff if you need something quickly (24-48 hours). Scanner bed maximum size is 12 x 17 for original art; larger pieces will be scanned as overlapping images and delivered to patrons 'as-is' for them to piece together. If an image is being published, either in print or electronic format, please consult staff regarding permission and any applicable fees.  For large orders and images from bound materials, consult staff (special-collections@duke.edu).

Any work requiring "cleaning up" by lab staff will be negotiated on an individual basis and is outsourced. Labor fees start at $50 per hour.

Microfilming

We lend existing positive microfilms of our manuscript and rare print material for 6 months and charge only the shipping/handling fee of $10.00 ( for addresses inside the U.S.).  Please contact us for details regarding the cost and time required for the original microfilming of our materials.

Photocopies

For orders being picked up from the registration desk in the Research room a flat fee of $ .25 per copy will be charged.

For photocopy orders being shippped, the following charges include handling, packaging, and mailing .

For orders over one hundred copies an additional fee will be charged. Orders shipping outside of the U.S. will be charged an additional shipping fee to cover postage. All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.
