Above the Rim Programs

The exhibit's title, "Above the rim," is not from the 1994 Jeff Pollack film of the same name.  It is the title of Duke's basketball recruiting brochure of 1978.

The background for the exhibit pages is the front page of The Trinity Chronicle for January 30, 1906 which carried a story about the start of the basketball program.  The photo on the page is the baseball team, not the basketball team.
