Archivist for Metadata, Systems, and Digital Records
Noah is the Archivist for Metadata, Systems, and Digital Records in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library. In this role, he coordinates metadata activities for the Rubenstein and oversees archival collection management systems and the publication of archival finding aids. Noah is an active member of the Society of American Archivists (SAA), the Society of North Carolina Archivists (SNCA), and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Prior to coming to Duke in 2008, Noah served as a Carolina Academic Library Associate in the Southern Historical Collection at UNC-Chapel Hill and worked as a Special Collections Assistant at the Filson Historical Society in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned a BA in History from Furman University, an MA in History from the University of Louisville, and an MSLS from UNC-Chapel Hill.
