Minority report of committee on publishing interests on "war claim"

Four-page, double-sided minority report issued by the Committee on Publishing for the Methodist Episcopal Church, arguing for the return of a $288,000 restitution awarded by the U.S. government for Methodist printing presses used during the Civil War. The undersigned members believe the restitution was claimed under false pretenses before a Senate committee, and should be returned in full to the government.
