Single-page broadside beginning "We the people of Wilson County," resolving against the secession of Tennessee from the Union: "we regard the secession of any one or more States from the Union as a violation of the Federal Constitution and revolutionary in its character, affording no remedy for the evils complained of by the people of the South, and that we have an abiding hope and confidence that those evils can and will be remedied by the General Government under the Constitution and in the Union."
