This exhibition, “Documenting Daddy's Days At Duke - Part 1”, will feature materials from Wallace’s Days at Duke while he was a Graduate Student working as an Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Education. It will display his involvement with keeping the Black Undergraduate population enrolled at Duke and his Key role in Minority Recruitment. Since VC Harold Wallace was instrumental with the establishment of multiple departments at Duke and since he served on various committees- this series will be broken up into several parts so that all of the wonderful contributions that he made to this fine University will be acknowledged. This is the first part of the series on, “Documenting Daddy’s Days At Duke.”

This exhibition was sponsored in part by the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation.
