Subject: Documentary papyri --Egypt --640-1250.
	Personal correspondence --Egypt --640-1250.
Material: 1 item : papyrus, three joining fragments mounted in
	glass, complete? ; 8 x 16 cm.
Note: Actual dimensions of item are 7.0 x 15.7 cm.
	11 lines.
	Written across the fibers on the recto; the address
	written along the fibers on the verso.
	Upper margin of 0.5 cm.; small lower margin; left margin
	of 1.5 cm.; small right margin(?).
	P.Duk.inv. 449 was formerly P.Miss. 15.
	Papyrus private letter from Egypt in which Malachias
	requests an answer from the addressee as well as
	prayer. The farewell reads "May you prosper in the
	strength of the holy spirit."
	In Coptic.
