Written in two columns along the fibers on the recto; written across the fibers on the verso in a different hand. Upper margin of 1.5 cm.; lower margin of 8.5 cm. P.Duk.inv. 544 R was formerly P.Miss. 112 R. Papyrus register of money taxes from Egypt. Arranged by individuals, some of whom are slaves. Various dates are registered. Individuals include: Hermesion son of Ammonios and Dioskouros(?) son of Artemidoros, owners of the slaves listed. The taxes include laographia, or poll tax. Mentions years 8 and 9 of Vespasian and year 7, which provides the date after which the text was written. Verso has a tax register in Greek (P.Duk.inv. 544 V). In Greek.
