	P.Duk.inv. 840 R was written along the fibers on the
	recto in three different hands; written across the
	fibers on the verso in yet another hand.
	Small upper margin(?); lower margin of 1 cm.; small
	right margin.
	Account of expenses from Heracleopolis Magna, Egypt,
	written on papyrus. Expenses are for the repair of
	the bath house associated with the gymnasium of Heracleopolis
	Magna. Preceded by an authorization(?) of Phileas
	a former recorder (hypomnematographos) whose signature
	is written in between the lines. The authorization
	is dated to Phaophi 9 (late September to late October)
	of an unknown year of the emperor Diocletian.
	One of the people in charge of the building project
	(or his father) is called Faustianus. He (or a colleague)
	is the councillor and former magistrate of Heracleopolis
	Magna. The account runs for five days from the end
	of Thoth (late August to late September) to the beginning
	of Phaophi (late September to late October). Verso
