The Rubenstein Library welcomes questions from all users, regardless of academic affiliation. If you have a question of a general, historical nature, please consult the reference department of your college or university library or public library. We are only able to answer questions related to our holdings. Due to our small staff and the high volume of questions received, it may take us two weeks to respond to you.
If you are seeking permission to publish material that the Rubenstein Library holds a copyright interest in, including University Archives material, please submit a permissions request form.
Planning a research visit? Most of our collections are stored at our off-site repository, the Library Service Center, so you will need to register as a researcher and request the materials you want to use at least 2 full business days before you visit the Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library. We will retrieve your materials and hold them in the Rubenstein Library Reading Room.
