Historical Note

Ann Imlah Schneider's most extensive and recent government service was at the U.S. Department of Education, where she was senior program officer for several of the Education Department's grant programs for international education, under Title VI (of the Higher Education Act). Her experience also includes work on government-academic relations at the State Department, as well as earlier positions with the senior Fulbright program and with the American Friends Service Committee.
