Summary

Henry Philip David (1923-2009) was a pioneering researcher in the field of reproductive behavior and public policy. He is notable for his longitudinal studies on the psychological aspects of abortion, as well as his extensive international collaboration and research. He was the founder (1972) and director of the Transnational Family Research Institute in Bethesda, MD. He wrote and edited 17 books and authored or co-authored over 300 articles. He's been honored with numerous awards, including the 1993 American Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology.
