Walter Thompson Company's 1968 outdoor, poster and print "Uncola" campaign for Seven-Up beverage. Campaign featured a number of contemporary commercial artists, including Barry Zaid, Bob Mitchell, Ed George, Jacqui Morgan, John Alcorn, John Craig, John Kurtz, Kim Whitesides, Milton Glaser, Nancy Martell, Pat Dypold, Roger Chouinard and Seymour Chwast. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.

Historical Note

Pulp and paper milling company based in Seattle, Wash. Founded 1890 as Simpson Logging; expanded to lumber milling and paper production 1920s; Simpson Paper merged with Lee Paper of Michigan to form Simpson Lee Paper 1959; renamed Simpson Paper Company.
