Four Latin recipes for a successful marriage make up this pretty pamphlet from 1887. They are attributed to a fictitious doctor named "Celsius Hymenophilus." The first recipe, which results in "the elixir of true love," calls for "Attraction, Equal Natural Talents, and Similar Educational Background," with attraction not too suprisingly requiring the largest proportion.
