Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Gibbons for and in consideration of the Sum of Four hundred and Twenty Pounds Currency to me in hand paid by William Gibbons the receipt of which I do hearby acknowledge, and my Self fully Satisfied, have bargained Sold and this day delivered unto him the Said William Gibbons one negro girl named Ann or otherways called Nan with all the Increase that she the Said nan may have fully discharging my Self or heirs from any demands on or for the Said nan; in witness I have this 18th day of february 1759 Sett my hand and Seal

Know all Men by these presents that I James Patterson for and in consideration of the sum of nineteen Pounds sterling lawfull money of the Province of Georgia to me in hand paid by Sarah Gibbons of the said Province the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge have bargained, sold, and delivered unto the said Sarah Gibbons a black Horse 14 1/2 hands high branded IF on near the Buttock and near the Shoulder to have and to hold the said black horse unto the said Sarah Gibbons her Executors, Administrators, and assigns [?] for ever, and I the said James Patterson for my self, my Executors and Admininstrators shall and will warrant, and for ever defend against all Persons by these presents the said bargained Premises unto the said Sarah Gibbons her Executors, Administrators, and assigns [?]. For witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fourteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy two.
