Alice's brother Rush R. Williamson was a Corporal in Company A, 7th Tennessee Cavalry Battallion. He was shown present in roll calls through Oct. 1863. He furnished his own horse, valued at $1,000, and a double barreled shotgun valued at $30. Through re-organization, he was placed in the 21st-22nd Regiment which surrendered at Gainesville, Ala., May 11, 1865.
