Published in Florence in 1927, Il diario della volonta` ("A Diary of The Will") is a collection of writings and speeches by Benito Mussolini. It was the first volume in a Fascist propaganda series especially directed at Italian youth. The various excerpts range from early speeches in 1914, when Mussolini decided to split from the Socialist Party, to Mussolini's World War I diary entries, to speeches in 1921 that reveal the momentum the Fascist party had acquired in only two years. There are no writings or speeches included that have dates later than 1921.
