The Libraries provide many types of teaching and learning options:

We offer a wide variety of workshops to provide resources and opportunities to learn about and develop research skills. Please see the upcoming workshops led by the Center for Data and Visualization Sciences, and the ScholarWorks Center for Scholarly Publishing, We welcome requests for future workshops!

We partner with Writing 101 instructors to offer course-integrated sessions to introduce students to library resources and services, provide an introduction to assignment-specific research strategies, and practice activities designed to develop students’ critical thinking skills.

We offer department-specific orientations and tours for undergraduate and graduate students. If you would like to schedule an orientation or tour, please contact the subject liaison for your department.

We are full-time instructors in several Duke undergraduate courses. If you or your department would like to discuss how to incorporate our involvement in your curriculum, please contact Linda Daniel, Teaching & Learning Strategist.
