Evelyn Rahman Hutchins was one of the few women ambulance drivers in the Spanish Civil War, and Ruth Rebecca Davidow was a nurse in the Spanish Civil War. They come to Duke on March 10, 1939 to speak about their experiences and to solicit donations to assist in the Republican resistance to Franco.
