The Jay B. Hubbell Center for American Literary Historiography documents change and development in the study of American Literature throughout the 20^th century.  The collection includes papers of scholars and critics of American literature, and records of both the American Literature Section of the Modern Language Association and the journal American Literature.  Scholars whose papers are preserved by the Center include Jay B. Hubbell, Gay Wilson Allen, Louis Budd, Edwin Cady, Lewis Leary, Ralph Rusk, and Arlin Turner.
