Access to the Music Library

During the Fall 2020 semester, entrance to the Music Library will be card access only for faculty, students and staff.

The Music Library door will be secured at all times. Staff will admit patrons with a reservation to use study space or equipment in the library. Staff will check the patron’s ID and reservation, ensure that they have a mask or give them one, and direct them to their reserved seat.

Spaces for open study will be available 10 am - 2 pm, M-F using our reservation form.

Borrowing

The Music Library stacks will be closed to patrons for Fall 2020. All circulating materials will be available for check-out via the Library Takeout Service. We will also deliver items to Music Department faculty and graduate students to designated locations in the Biddle Music Building.

Printing, Scanners, and Loanable Technology

The ePrinter in the Music Library will be available by reservation. A contactless system requires only that users be close to the printers to print. There is no card swipe - the print job is released once you select the printer.

Scanners and some loanable technology will be available using our reservation system.

Course Reserves

Physical reserves will not be available for Fall 2020. E-books will be provided when available. Scanning services for musical scores for reserves are available by request (link forthcoming).
