Collections
The Duke University Archives seeks to build its collections through donations from students and others that document the activities that comprised their unique campus experience. Materials we collect include:
- Diaries
- Correspondence (letters to and from home)
- Photograph albums
- Scrapbooks
- Recordings (film or audio)
- Student or other campus organization records (minutes, posters, membership lists, etc.)
In general, we do not need additional copies of the Chanticleer or the Chronicle, or other widely distributed campus publications. We occasionally collect artifacts, making evaluations on a case-by-case basis.
If you have material you are interested in donating, please contact the University Archivist.
