Duke University Libraries invites you to pay tribute to a special person or event by making a gift to the Libraries Annual Fund "Honoring with Books" program.
When you make a gift of $100 or more, we will add an electronic bookplate to the online catalog listing of the book honoring someone or a special occasion. Anyone, anywhere can see electronic bookplates when they view the catalog listing for the book. And, because these bookplates are electronic, it is easy to share them with friends and family by simply forwarding the catalog listing link by email.
Electronic bookplates offer an enduring expression of appreciation for the people who have enriched our lives. They can provide a wonderful way to thank and acknowledge:

- grandparents
- friends
- colleagues
They also provide a lasting remembrance of important milestones — such as birthdays, births, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, promotions, personal achievements, religious celebrations and retirements.
Your honoree will receive communication from the Duke University Libraries, making them aware of your generosity and their electronic bookplate. If you are able to provide an email address for the person you are honoring, we will send an electronic notification with a link to the electronic bookplate.
