The Duke Libraries have two types of lockers: daily self-service lockers in The Edge (first floor Bostock), and yearlong assigned lockers in Perkins Library that are available upon request.
Lockers at Perkins & Bostock
Daily self-service lockers
You can store items for the day in short-term use lockers located in The Edge (first floor Bostock) on a first-come, first-served basis.
Using the self-service lockers
- You can choose from small lockers (10.5'' H x 14'' W x 19'' D) and large lockers (22'' H x 14'' W x 19'' D), as shown in the picture.
- Each locker has two standard power outlets, handy for charging your devices.
- Set your own 4-digit code as the combination. We recommend using the last 4 digits of a phone number or something else you won't forget.
Locker policies
- We check and clear lockers at 9 am every day. We take remaining items to Lost & Found, located at the Perkins Library Service Desk on the first floor of Perkins Library. Items may be retrieved at any time during the library’s open hours.
- We aren't responsible for items kept in lockers. Use lockers at your own risk and remember which locker you used and what combination you set.
- For safety and health reasons, please do not store food or drink in the lockers.
