Who Can Help Me With ...?
A librarian is available most hours of the day for help via our online chat service for immediate needs.
Librarians are assigned to every Writing 101 class and to all first-year students via the Residence Hall Librarian program. These librarians will be your first point of contact for any assignment or question you have. There is also a subject librarian for every academic department. As your research becomes more sophisticated, you may need to work with a specialist. Set an appointment to meet with a subject librarian one-on-one.
Research consultations are one-on-one Zoom or in-person meetings scheduled with a librarian. You bring your assignment and questions to this meeting and you and the librarian then work out which strategies and research tools will best help you find sources for your paper. This is an excellent way to strengthen your research, saving you time and frustration.
